Museum and Soda Shop

This past Wednesday my mom and I and the girls went to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum. They have really nice traveling exhibits, this month it is Children of the Whitehouse and it had all 89 dolls of Caroline Kennedy that were given to her by the presidents of different countries. They were really neat, I couldn't take any pics of them b/c I needed to follow the rules with the girls there. They had a fit that I snapped a few of just them in the museum when the sign posted said "no pictures!" We then went to one of the oldest soda fountains in the country. It was built in 1856, and the same owners have had it (in the family) since 1910. It was featured in a national newspaper not too long ago. It was a neat place to visit and supposedly looks just like it did in 1910. After we ate the ice-cream and shakes we read a sign that said that the ice-cream was homemade daily with 12% milkfat!!!! We could feel our arteries clogging! But it was sure good!
