Santa was good to us all this year!
Jenna's was given Ugg boots and also a Purity Ring. she was also given
a Euro Pillow for her bedspread, and a Taylor Swift Cd.
Haley was given my ipod that I didn't use anymore...and an IHome to put it on, a unicorn pillow pet, and cute pink boots.
The girls got 5 new Wii games and you can see Haley playing "Sing It" above. One of their favorite Wii games was "The Price is Right."
Mikayla also got LOTS of decorations or her room, pink boots, a lava lamp and a digital camera.

Christmas Morning. We opened our stockings at 8 (that was when the girls could
wake up mom and dad), and then we went and made and ate a BIG breakfast.
After Breakfast we sat down and opened the rest of our presents.

The whole day we did not get out of pj's. It was so nice! We relaxed and played games
and took naps and ate! One of the best Christmases we've ever had!

Mikayla plays Mary

The Fourth Graders at Heritage have a tradition that during the Christmas Concert they present the Christmas Story by memorizing Luke 2:1-20. They all memorize it and then act it out. Mikayla was SO excited because she was chosen to play Mary, the Mother of Jesus!

Can't believe she turned 10 this year. She had some friends over for Pizza and Cake and then we went roller skating. They had a ball!

Wax Museum

For a school project Mikayla chose an inventor and then had to write a speech about his life...memorize the speech, and then come up with a costume. Then they held a Wax Museum. Other classes, parents, grandparents etc. came to the wax museum. All the kids had a red "button" on them. Groups of people would go up and push the button. Then the statues would give their speech and go back to their original position...staying still until the next group came up. It was such a CUTE project and she had sooo much fun on it! Her inventor was Edwin Drake, he invented the oil well.

Jade came and spent the weekend with us this Fall and she and Haley had a great time. They raked leaves, traipsed in the woods (Frog Creek Woods- named by them) and carved pumpkins. They had a great time enjoying the great outdoors.
