Happy 40th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my WONDERFUL sister Leah!!!
Some things you should know about her:

1. She is a wonderful Christian and strives daily to live for Christ better than the day before.
2. She has 2 beautiful children Madison and Quinn.
3. She has taught me everything I know about blogging! :) And I'm waiting for her to teach me more! She has taught me many more things than this though...for example: how to feel self-confident with myself!...and to not let other crazy people put their value on me.
4. She has her Masters in Nursing and is a Nurse Practitioner and has many "letters" after name that show all her many accomplishments.
5. She started the Pain Clinic at her local hospital from scratch and is highly revered by all the Doctors there.
6. She is a wonderful wife to her husband even though he is a Dodger fan and not a Cubs fan! :)
7. She is so involved in her children's lives even though she works many hours at the hospital. She is one of the vice-presidents of the Little League, and has served many years on different church committees. I am sure I am missing a zillion roles she plays in her community, past and present.
8. Wonderful co-worker and friend!
9. Drives 6 hours one way to cheer on the Iowa Hawks during football season!
10. Puts up with my crazy husband constantly asking her for foot rubs and to prescribe him some random medicine that he thinks he needs at the time...its usually Vicodin. I thank her for saying "NO!" to him!

If you want to get to know her even more go to her blog from the link on my blog. You will be amazed at her busy life that she some how keeps centered and sane.
Have a happy day Leah! I love you!
