Friends

Our friends Ray, Carri, Sheyanne and Matthew arrived on Friday July 3rd. We had such a great time with them, even though the weather didn't really cooperate that much and it rained way too much. We were able to sneak in a fishing "trip". We walked down to the pond on our sub division and the kids caught fish after fish. Sometimes their lines were in the water for literally 10 seconds and they had a bite. They had a great time. All Jeff and Ray did were run from line to line taking fish off and putting worms on. They left this morning very early. We had a wonderful time with them, and will look forward to seeing them again....in a couple years.

Haley's "Clean" Room

Haley is a pack rat and a slob! There is no way around it! I asked her and asked her to clean her room last week. One day I came home from work and she was sooooo excited because her room was clean. I praised her up and down, telling her how awesome her room looked.

This past Monday night I was in her room taking the sheets off her bed and noticed something sticking out from underneath her bed. Upon further investigation you can see what I found!!!! I just had to laugh...or I'd cry! She was in Illinois with Jeff visiting grandparents at the time so I spent the whole night pitching, cleaning, pitching, and pitching junk once more.

When she came home she barely recognized her room. Needless to say I told her if her room every looked like that again she would be in TROUBLE!

Flower Girl Haley

Our friends, church members and neighbors; Steve & Sherryl- celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in early June. They renewed their vows with a backyard ceremony. Invited were church friends, family and neighbors. Her Maid of Honor came also. Haley was asked to be the flower girl. It was a beautiful, but simple renewal of vows and their love for each other. Haley enjoyed dressing up and being a princess for the afternoon.
