Please ignore the first 3 pictures, I don't know why they are there, and I can't get them off! Maybe my blog-specialist sister can log on my account and figure it out for me! (Hint-Hint Leah!)Our Church had our 2nd Daddy Daughter Dance! It was sure fun! 3 other ladies from the church and I were in charge of it. We had a great turn-out. There were 15 dads and 19 daughters. About 7 of those dads were from outside the church, so that was great! We had it decorated beautifully, complete with Disco Ball and Brent from church was our DJ. It is hard to tell because of the camera flash but it actually was pretty dark and then the Disco Ball made it really cool in there. The daughters and dads "got their groove on" from 6-8 last night. Mikayla would sit for about 30 seconds to rest her feet but then she was back out there leading everyone in the macarana or the bunny hop. She is quite the dancer!!! Haley was more interested in being with her little friends from church and school that came, instead of her dad. Even the last song of the night, "Butterfly Kisses", he couldn't pin her down to dance with him. Mikayla did though and that was very special.
Jenna was too old to go to the dance this year. The age cut-off is 10. She actually got all dressed up and went to the Rec Center with a church friend. They had an "Oscar Night" there. They got their pictures taken on the red carpet etc. She had a fun time.
After church this morning, MIkayla and Haley went home with friends from church and when the grandma was bringing them home she called and said that Mikayla was saying her stomach hurt. She thought perhaps that she was just homesick so they would be home in just a couple minutes. When they got here, Deb told me that as soon as she saw the house she started crying and then she threw up all over the place. There was throw up literally everywhere in the van and on Mikki. So that started an evening full of constant throw up and diarhea. I think she threw up 15 times in 3 hours. I have her finally sleeping on the couch, but she keeps moaning and is restless. Poor baby! I am not going to go to school tomorrow so I can take care of her. Jeff's day is too full to stay home.
Enjoy the following pics of a fun filled evening!

The dance looks so fun! Elizabeth really wanted to go last year, but we were in the processing of moving, so didn't happen. I'm glad you had a lot of visitors!
