EVACUATION!
THE SHERIFF HAS COME TO OUR DOOR AND SAID THAT WE HAVE TO EVACUATE!!! They are closing the road right outside our subdivision. We are not too far from the Iowa River and it is flooding over into our area. I showed you the picture in my last post. We are packing for a week, we will probably go to my parents. They are not home, have left on vacation. You can reach us on our cell phones. Pray for us and our house!

This is so hard to believe! I hope your homes are okay and you guys are safe wherever you had to evacuate too.
You will be in our prayers! I cannot believe how devastating this flood is. God is in control! Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help.
Just so you know we have been watching the news here in Canada, and keeping up on what is happening via internet and hoping and praying it would not get too bad, and that all of you are ok, and your homes stay intact. Keep in touch if you can, you are definitely in our thoughts and our prayers. It is totally amazing to see such devastation on roads, places ,and buildings we have been. It is so sad. Keep strong! Thinking of you all, all the ones we know and all the ones we don't!
